DHCP (=Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is a communication protocol for computer network devices. It ensures that the connection-seeking device can automatically obtain a reusable network address and all relevant parameters from the network.
The recommended data volume is 2GB/month on average due to firmware updates. When using a mobile network, we recommend data pooling. Please note that your data volume is always dependent on the transfer volume.
There are no restrictions on the number of cooking systems.
Please check in your firewall that port 443 and TCP/UDP 8883 are open.
Please restart your cooking system.
If you have any further questions about your network, please contact your IT department. If you have any questions about your cooking system, ConnectedCooking or connecting to networks, please contact cc-support@rational-online.com . We would be happy to advise you.

Make sure that HACCP data is transferred. You can activate this setting on the cooking system display directly or remotely via ConnectedCooking in the display main menu, under ConnectedCooking. To do this, set the setting for “Automatically transfer HACCP data” to ON.
The energy usage shows the energy used by the iCombi Pro or SelfCookingCenter per time [kWh] with a time delay of up to 60 hours. These are calculated, unmeasured values.
The idle time indicates the end of the preheating time until loading (door opening).
This means that the cooking system is already heated but is not loaded and is therefore not being used for cooking and energy is being consumed unnecessarily. Shorter idle times have a positive effect on energy usage and lead to optimal utilisation of the cooking system.
When the door is open, heat energy is lost from the cooking cabinet, which must be compensated for by reheating and leads to increased energy usage. The number of long door openings (> 60 seconds) after the preheating time are displayed in ConnectedCooking and indicate potential energy savings. Short and few door openings have a positive effect on energy usage.
The load peaks show the sum of all peak usages of the connected cooking systems: e.g. simultaneous heating phases of several cooking systems. The fleet usage is displayed. To do this, the cooking systems must be assigned to the branch type in ConnectedCooking.
The dashboards are only visible at user level, i.e. each user creates their own dashboards.
Yes, this is possible in the system. If you are interested in this function, please contact cc-support@rational-online.com and we will be happy to advise you.
